I have fond memories of visiting "Big Red Light House" at Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa with my Dad.  I am pleased this wonderful memory was selected to be part of Best of Western NC Artists 2012 art show in Asheville September 2012.

Asheville Youth Rowing Boat House Dedication

What a fun evening!  Thank you  all who have given their time, talent and donations to create The Jack Gartner Boat House.  It is a beautiful home for the Asheville Youth Rowing Association at Lake Julian.
At the dedication we were honored to have Holly Metcalf, and Olympic Gold Medalist speak.
I enjoyed surprising Coach Jack at the dedication with the portrait of him I painted that will hang inside the tower.  Great night!
